Milwaukee Public Schools is asking taxpayers to pay a nearly 30% property tax increase on April 2 for yet more new funding! Increasing taxes while Milwaukee families are paying more for everything from gas to groceries is wrong.

On Tuesday, April 2, Milwaukee voters will be asked to vote on a nearly 30% property tax increase in order to provide increased funding yet again to Milwaukee Public Schools.

  • Milwaukee voters should oppose increasing property taxes by nearly 30% that would negatively impact renters and homeowners.¹

  • Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) already wasted nearly $1 Billion in new taxpayer funding over the past four years from a previous tax hike in 2020.²

  • Now they want even more. And MPS has released no specific plan on how they’ll spend the money.

Enough is enough.

Milwaukee voters should just vote no.

Pledge to vote “NO” to increasing property taxes on April 2!
